About Alex
Alex Simon was born and raised in Redwood City, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. Alex grew up around sports, playing as many as he could while also watching both his parents and his little brother just as much. He also enjoyed talking and writing at an early age, ultimately leading Alex to combine those with his love for sports into his profession.
Alex is currently studying for a master’s of arts degree in sports journalism at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. He received his bachelor’s degree from Elon University in North Carolina, where he majored in broadcast journalism and also had minors in American Studies and in Sport and Event Management.
In his free time, Alex enjoys spending time at the beach, eating at In-N-Out Burger, and hanging out with family and friends.
